The public demo for Crackdown 2 has gone live today, meaning it's now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It will allow players to tear about the city in single player mode, four-player co-op or even pure sandbox style.
To further make the demo worth checking out, Ruffian have made it possible to obtain achievements. They won't be unlocked straight away, but they will be deferred when the retail game is played - definitely something new. There's also a Facebook game called "Chuck's Ducks 2" which ties in with the demo and unlocks a harder difficulty level in the demo.
The game is currently scheduled to launch on the 9th of July in Europe exclusively on Xbox 360.
