Fable 3 was shown off for the first time at Microsoft's press event today. Not much info was given on the game, but a short video was shown. It looks more likely that Fable 3 will make an appearance on E3's show floor.
The game itself doesn't seem to deviate from the standard Fable formula, although it looks to be set in the industrial age, and the trailer mentions a revolution as well. A cannon was briefly shown, so there may even be a large-scale battle as a set piece during the game. It's been revealed that the player will eventually overthrow the tyrant, so perhaps a siege on an enemy castle will happen at some point.
One strange omission, however, was Peter Molyneux's usual over-selling of his game. Maybe he's finally learned not to over-promise?
Fable 3 releases on October 26th, and we'll keep you updated with any information coming up during the rest of E3 2010.
