Microsoft has announced that their Games on Demand service for Windows will be seeing over 100 new titles available for download on the service by the end of the year. This will also include a ton of new and existing titles from third party publishers.

So far, the Games on Demand service will include games from 2K, Capcom, Rockstar, THQ, and Ubisoft. There are no hard dates confirmed for any games upcoming yet, but Microsoft says they will be releasing new games on the service every week, with more release dates confirmed in the near future.

Microsoft is also having a special deal coinciding with the announcement of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands coming to the service. Both Warrior Within and The Sands of Time from the Prince of Persia series will be offered for $2.49 each. Sounds like Microsoft is starting to dig in and fight against the Steam service. So far Steam is on top, and it's really hard to see them coming down any time soon.
