Level 5 has announced that their Studio Ghibli tie-in RPG, Ni no Kuni, will be coming to the PS3 shortly after the release of the Nintendo DS version of the game. The title has been greatly anticipated since it was revealed, most notably due to be related to Studio Ghibli, the studio whose films have received numerous awards and praise from critics around the world.
According to reports from a recent event held for the game, the PS3 version will differ slightly from the Nintendo DS version of the game, using what looks to be a real-time battle system and will feature a different story.
Level 5 also announced the finalized release date for the Nintendo DS version: December 9, 2010. The Nintendo DS version will come with a special book which is used in the game to draw magical signs using the Nintendo DS's stylus. There's no word on if the PS3 version will support PlayStation Move, however --- but the PS3 version won't be released till next year, so there's always hope.
