Yesterday at Sony's E3 Press Conference, Sony announced the pricing and details of their long rumoured premium PlayStation Network service, which is now dubbed, PlayStation Plus.
It will cost $49.99 a year in the US and £39.99 in the UK. And for that fee, gamers will get much more access to games. They will get invites to betas, selected games/add-ons for free and discounts on selected games. They will also be able to play extended demos of games and firmware updates will automatically download.
Not exactly must-have, but for those who use PSN to its full extent, Sony claim it will lead to considerable savings.
