Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot has claimed that they've had the "strongest ever" preorder sales for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the next iteration in the Assassin's Creed franchise that will feature a core multiplayer experience and is due for release this November.

Guillemot reveals in the company's first quarter sales that preorders for the game are up 20% compared to titles this time last year.

"The preorders are the strongest ever seen," he said, "already 20% above those from the same period last year, even before the awards announced following E3."

The financial figures also confirmed that Ubisoft's other titles are doing quite well, Splinter Cell: Conviction has sold nearly 2 million since it's launch in April this year.
