Harmonix Lead Developer, Dan Teasdale, has officially announced that he is leaving his position at Harmonix to move to Texas for work on a new title with development studio Twisted Pixel. With Rock Band 3 to the point that Teasdale is done his part of the work on it, he will now be working with the team that has created titles such as The Maw and 'Splosion Man.
Coming From his personal blog, Teasdale states the reason he is leaving is to get back to directing new titles while being able to have a lot of hands-on input with the games he is working on. He also states that he will be working on a "ridiculously cool new project" with Twisted Pixel.
Currently, Twisted Pixel is on the brink of releasing Comic Jumper, which looks like another great title from the developer. What this new title is could be very exciting, especially since Twisted Pixel has yet to release a game that isn't impressive and a whole lot of fun.
