Microsoft's latest motion tech, Kinect, has been banned for sale in China. This isn't the first time that the company has run into a snag in the orient as both their own Xbox 360 as well as Sony's PlayStation 3 are banned in China.
Kinect is only just the latest to fall victim to China's Ministry of Culture edict which prohibits the sale of video game hardware.
Microsoft China COO Van Der Ber did not say if the company would appeal the ban but did state that they will cooperate with the law. Interestingly enough, some of Nintendo's platforms have made a bit of a breakthrough in China with iQue distributing some of its handheld devices.
