After revealing that more information about the next chapter in the long-running Tales series would be coming later this Summer and recently dashing hopes of a July announcement, many were expecting news wouldn't come out until TGS 2010. However, the company pulled a surprise announcement today in Japan, revealing three new games in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
The first game is a PS3 port of Tales of Graces, which hit the Wii last December and was the worst-selling Tales title due to a plethora of bugs, anger over the PS3 port of Tales of Vesperia and releasing the game right before Final Fantasy XIII's release in Japan. New additions will be added to the game, which is set for a Winter 2010 release in Japan.
The second game is Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 for the PSP, a series which North America has only received the first game. Not much is known except for the reoccurring character Kanonno making another appearance and around 30 new characters being added. The game is set for a 2011 release. The last game is a new mothership Tales title for the PS3. No release date or official name was given; only a single piece of concept art was shown.
