Harmonix and MTV Games have recently announced Rock Band 3's North American release date, which is October 26. This information is mildly surprising, since it's been a while that a game's release date hasn't been leaked by Wal-Mart, GameStop, or Amazon. The game is set to release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS on the same day.
Rock Band 3 will also have some pre-order bonuses ranging from 'neat' to 'kinda neat', depending on whom you pre-order from. Amazon offers an in-game guitar and some cash on a future videogame purchase. Wal-mart is giving purchasers a gift card (unless they buy the DS copy), and GameStop will probably have something too.
Though only the North American release date was given specifically, it's worth mentioning that the release date is stated to be simultaneous worldwide. No word was given on how expensive this will be either, so anyone without a real source of income may want to consider babysitting or mowing lawns now in order to prepare for what will most likely be a jaw dropping price.
