Reports indicate that Channel 4's free television service may indeed be heading towards Sony's home console. The channel includes programs like The Ali G Show and The Inbetweeners.
BBC's own iPlayer has also launched on the PS3 with pretty good results and with the success of their on-demand service, Channel 4 is looking for similar opportunities. 4oD currently available on Virgin Media's on-demand service as well as Youtube.
According to TechRadar, an anonymous source reports that Channel 4 is currently in talks with Sony about bringing the service over.
"We're looking to launch on the PS3," a source told Broadcast magazine.
"4oD is becoming a platform agnostic product and will be successful because of the quality of the content."
If 4oD is indeed brought to the PS3, it'll be the first commercial TV service to grace the home console.
