The last time we heard news about Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Nintendo had pegged the game for a Holiday 2010 release during their E3 2010 media blitz. But since then, the company has released barely any information about the game, making many wonder if the game would slip into a 2011 release. Nintendo has announced that the game will be coming out in 2010, and it'll be out sooner than you think.
Golden Sun: Dusk Dawn takes place 30 years after the events of Golden Sun: The Lost Age, in which the heroes succeeded in bringing the world-healing powers of the Golden Sun back to the world of Weyard. Since then, the power of the Golden Sun has changed almost everything. Continents have shifted, new countries have emerged and new species have emerged. However, the world is under a new threat in the form of Psynergy Vortexes, which suck the elemental Psynergy from both the land and the Adepts who wield the power of Psynergy. A new generation of heroes, who descend from the heroes of the first two games, are drawn into the mystery of why the vortexes came to be and to find out how to bring calm to a world that is being succumbed to a new evil.
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will be released in North America on November 29, 2010. Since Nintendo has formally announced the game's release date, it should be expected that more information will be released in the following months leading up to the game's release.
