Dutch-based developer Guerrilla Games, the team behind the Killzone series, have revealed they are in the early stages of developing a new IP, which will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. In an interview with Joystiq at GDC Europe, Guerrilla's director Herman Hulst said the company is working on a non-Killzone project, which is in the "very early days in terms of conceptualizing [the IP]."
The Killzone maker decided to branch off into additional projects in the hopes of broadening the "level of scope and ambition" at their studio. Few details were given on the direction of the mysterious IP, other than it will be in Hulst's words, "any game we want to make."
Guerrilla's known quantity, Killzone 3, is scheduled for an early 2011 release.
