It looks like Kinect will be changing a few more things about the Xbox 360 experience that we didn't expect: the avatars. According to Rare, the avatars they helped to create will be getting some slight tweaking alongside the release of Kinect on the Xbox 360 this November.
OXM talked with Nick Burton, a senior programmer for the Xbox 360 avatars project, which explained that the more "cartoony" proportions of the avatars created a schism between the actions on the screen and the players perception, noting that it wasn't a hardware issue.
According to Burton, the "new" avatars will be more realistic and will essentially be "Avatar 2.0". Kinect is set to be released worldwide this November and will be available separately or in a bundle.
