Activision and Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature online split-screen multiplayer support! The news comes via the PlayStation Blog where Treyarch's community manager Josh Olin details several of Black Ops' online functions.
Online split-screen allows for another player to join in the havoc as a guest. Guests can rank up, earn unlockables, etc. but it all goes away once they sign out.
In addition, other features include a Custom Game Editor, In-Game Friends List, Regional Matchmaking and Party Privacy as well as Emblems not resetting once entering Prestige.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is out November 9 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
