David O. Russell Plans To Do Uncharted.. Again.

Apparently, when the Uncharted movie was originally announced in the making David O. Russell was going to direct, however, he had chosen to work on a movie adaptation of Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies instead.

He has since then dropped the deal and moved back onto Nathan Drake which we hope is where he'll stay.

He will be writing and directing the movie. Columbia President, Matt Tolmach says of Russell, "David is a tremendous choice to take on this film."

"He's equally adept at combining all the classic elements involved in this property: great character development, strong comedy and amazing action sequences."

Imdb has the movie down for a 2013 release.

I wonder who they'll choose to be Nathan Drake? Perhaps, David Boreanaz I think would be pretty awesome!
