EA have changed the Taliban moniker to "Opposing Forces" due to the pressure and controversy surrounding the upcoming release of Medal of Honor. That should do the trick and appease the people right?

Nope, that's where you're wrong.

US Military bases will be maintaining the ban of sales of Medal of Honor despite the name change.

"Out of respect to those touched by the ongoing, real-life events presented as a game, Exchanges will not be carrying this product." He continued, "I expect the military families who are authorized to shop the Exchange are aware, and understanding, of the decision not to carry this particular offering," said AAFES's Commander Maj. Gen. Bruce Casella.

Medal of Honor is out for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 12 in North America and October 15 in the UK.
