The Nintendo 3DS is coming out in February for Japan and the following month for the rest of the world. Currently listed at 25,000 yen in Japan and estimated at roughly $300 everywhere else, the price point seems excessively high for a handheld portable and we aren't the only ones that think so.
Kotaku reports that GetNews.jp conducted a poll asking participants if the Nintendo 3DS was too expensive and a majority argued that it is with 32 percent saying it is slightly expensive, 28 percent expensive, 19 percent too expensive and only 16 percent said that is priced reasonably.
Apparently 3 percent are just filthy rich, saying the 3DS is either slightly or just plain inexpensive.
The Nintendo 3DS is out next year and already has a solid lineup of games including Super Street Fighter 4 3D, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater and Assassin's Creed: The Lost Legacy.
