The U-Decide Initiative reports that, according to their new study, a good chunk of gamers are willing to experience 3D technology even if it means putting on those glasses. In fact, a good 80 percent are willing to play games and watch 3D movies with additional eyewear.
This is in contrast to popular belief that 3D glasses impedes the adoption of 3D gaming. Apparently, 65 percent of people surveyed already own an HDTV and a good 35 percent were planning to purchase a new 3DTV in the new 2 years.
What does this mean? There'll be plenty hopping on the 3D bandwagon which eventually means costs of 3DTVs and peripherals will drop sooner rather than later. That's always good news.
