Sega has been forced to wipe the leaderboards on Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I because of a rampant wave of cheating that was spoiling it for everyone.
Unfortunately, this means that all legitimate times were deleted as well, but Sega felt the move was necessary.
"It's not a long-term solution, but while we look into what options there are to combat this effectively for good, I think it's very important to do what we can in the short-term, too," said a SEGA forum administrator.
Hopefully a long-term solution can be found.
