Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the third major installment into the Assassin's Creed franchise. It's also marks the third time that the franchise has gone head to head with Activision's Call of Duty franchise.
However, despite many naysayers in the past, the two have been able to co-exist and Ubisoft have stated that when deciding on the release date for Brotherhood, Black Ops didn't even factor into the equation.
"Every major Assassin's Creed title has been released in November, and the series has obvious done incredibly well in that position. Given that track record we see no reason to move the launch date of the third entry in the series regardless of any competition," said a Ubisoft PR representative.
Hopefully Ubisoft can strike it lucky a third time so that we can continue to find out more about the story of Desmond and the battle between the Templars and the Assassins.
