EA has released details about their upcoming 3DS titles, The Sims 3 and Tsukurou Ponta no Gardens DS, which is just the Japanese release of My Garden. The info comes via Famitsu.
The Sims 3, the latest in the franchise, will make use of the 3DS' rendering capabilities to show off 3D renditions of your Sims on the top screen, with the bottom showing a map. Players will be able to create and customize their own Sims.
Putting the 3DS' camera to good use, playes can also take a photo of themselves to instantly create a Sim to look just like them. The game supports Wi-fi and Street Pass, where players can exchange Sims with others on the go.
As for the Japanese release of My Garden, players are tasked with creating the most beautiful garden ever. There are various challenges for players to tackle.
Both games are slated for a Spring 2011 release.
