The release of next generation home consoles for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo is inevitable really, especially with the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Portable 2 set to usher in a new era.
However, THQ's Danny Bilson is hoping that it doesn't come any time soon, as he's not sure publishers will be able to cope with the demands.
"It still costs us a fortune to make games on this platform. If they're going to up the scale, up the art, up the content, I don't know how to make that and sell it to anybody for under $100 a game," Bilson told Eurogamer.
It does seem as though the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 still have quite a lot of life left in them, although Nintendo could jump the gun and market out the successor to the Nintendo Wii sooner rather than later.
