Ever since Deep Silver released the trailer for Dead Island, the game has been on almost everyone's radar, as everyone is curious to see what Techland can do with the title. The trailer itself has received over 3 million views and it's made Deep Silver change their priorities.
Speaking to MCV, Deep Silver's head of marketing Amy Namihas said "Dead Island is our flagship title for 2011 and we have a number of exciting initiatives already in development that reflect that."
They won't reveal much information about the game, but many UK based magazines will has some exclusive details next month. The game is being developed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and it's due for a Q3 2011 release.
