BioWare's putting out a demo for Dragon Age II next week on February 22 and a Call to Arms for fans on a global scale: the goal is to reach the one million downloads and log-in mark before March 1.

"We are actively recruiting an army of Champions, and if we get over 1 million demo downloads and logins on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 combined before March 1st, we will unlock two in-game items for the entire community to use in Dragon Age II," says the message left on the official site.

For a download to be counted, you'll have to log-in to your EA account. The in-game items unlocked include two books: The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall (extra money) and Lothering's Lament (extra XP).

The demo is out February 22 and the full experience hits stores on March 8 in North America and March 11 in Europe.
