505 Games has announced that they're working with Michael Phelps to make a brand new title for Microsoft's Kinect peripheral. It will be called, Michael Phelps - Push the Limit.

For those who don't know, Michael Phelps is the second most decorated Olympian in history, having won countless gold medals in the swimming pool. He also holds the record for most gold medals in a single Olympic games.

"Push the Limit is a fun, innovative, and physical way to game that is complete with elements that will challenge serious gamers, swimmers and casual fans," said Phelps.

The Career Mode will see players compete in tournaments around the world visiting "some of the most breathtaking locales the sport has seen." One pool, for example, is in a Japanese dojo, while another is a heated outside pool in a mountain range.

The title is due out exclusively on Xbox 360 around June 2011.
