Fans of the recent Ys PSP releases from publisher XSEED Games are already well aware that the publisher will be releasing the next entry of a stand-alone story in the "The Legend of Heroes" franchise this March. What they didn't know is if the game would be getting a Limited Edition like the previous Ys releases. Well, XSEED Games is happy to tell you the answer: yes.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is a massive 50-hour plus 3D RPG that tells the story of Estelle and Joshua, two candidates for acceptance into the legendary Bracer Guild, a peacekeeping organization free of allegiance to any country or government. Their journey brings them to uncover a secret plot to overthrow the peace the world has enjoyed following a war 10 years prior.
Fans who pre-order the Limited Edition of the game from participating retailers in North America will receive a soundtrack CD, a 13-inch by 19.5 inch poster and a Bracer Guild replica metal badge alongside the game. The Limited Edition version will retail for $39.99, while the normal version with only the game will retail for $29.99.
XSEED Games currently has The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky set for a March 2011 release on the Sony PSP. Until the official finalized release date comes, here's some new screenshots to tide you over.
