A conflict over stolen Game Boy had unfortunately led to the fatal stabbing of Devone McCrary. Assailant John Rosa got into an argument with the victim over the device, he has been sentenced to five and a half years in state prison, having pled guilty to "passion-provocation manslaughter," reports NorthJersey.com (via Kotaku).

Rosa had admitted to confronting McCrary on May 2, 2010. Apparently the victim was handed a screwdriver to defend himself as the dispute escalated. Due to the complexity of the case, prosecutors noted that Rosa might win an acquittal had they charged him with murder.

However, Jacqueline McCrary, the victim's mother, does not believe the sentence to be enough, expressing her outrage at the sentencing.

"I feel it is just not enough," she says, then shouting to Rosa, "I want you to think real hard about what you took away from me, over a video game, I hope you suffer."
