Earlier today, Namco Bandai announced that they would be publishing Dark Souls in North America, the successor to the extremely popular Demon's Souls. In another such more, the company has also apparently gotten the rights to publish Armored Core 5 in North America, according to Dengeki.
The game, which is currently still in-development, will be more about the tactics and using the environment's geography than the high-speed finger work the series has been known for lately, harkening back to the original PlayStation iterations. This also includes a toning-down in the size of the mechs nearly in half to five meters tall instead of ten.
While Namco Bandai has yet to formally announce the game through their North American offices, they are set to reveal quite a few new games at a private press conference tomorrow, so this Armored Core 5 news might be present there.
