Ubisoft has just announced that they'll be releasing a new game into the Call of Juarez franchise. It will be called Call of Juarez: The Cartel, and it will again be developed by Techland - the developer of the previous two titles.
The Carlet, unlike the previous games, will be set in the modern day. Techland hope to meld the Wild West together with modern society into an "immersive and mature" story. It should cerainly be a first for the first-person shooter genre.
Starting off in LA, players will again find themselves drawn to Juarez in Mexico, but they probably won't be fighting against Native Americans this time around.
The game is due for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC this Summer.
