NPD Group has compiled a list of the biggest grossing games of all time in the United States, a list which is dominated by two companies: Activision and Nintendo.
Only ten of the games were revealed, but the majority of them included a peripheral of some kind. Interestingly enough, there's also no mention of Halo 3 anywhere, despite it smashing numerous records when it launched.
Guitar Hero III leads the way, generating $830.9m, with Call of Duty: Black Ops in second, currently sitting at $787.4m. Nintendo then enter the fray with Wii Fit, which has generated them $736.6m.
The rest of the list is compiled of various Guitar Hero and Call of Duty titles, with a few Wii games entering in there too. The only surprise in the list really, is Mario Kart Wii.
