Trip Hawkins, the founder of Electronic Arts, is in some serious hot water with the IRS, America's tax arm. He reportedly owes around $20 million in unpaid taxes.
Hawkins, who founded EA back in 1982, then went on to head up the 3DO console project. Following the 3DO's failure, he founded a social games publisher called Digital Chocolate, which went bust in 2003. He filed for bankrupcy in 2006, but has recently been seen splashing the cash.
"Hawkins planned to defeat his taxes via bankruptcy and continue living the lifestyle to which he had grown accustomed," declared Judge Jeffrey White.
