Mojang, the indie developer behind the hit sensation that is Minecraft, has revealed that the next project they're working on is a card game called Scrolls.
The news comes from GDC 2011 and as Jakob Porser, the lead developer on the project, outline his huge vision for the project. Not only does he want it to be a financial success, he plans to hold large online world championships for the game. The game will work on a micro-transaction model, but players will also be able to trade cards with one another, for a fee of course.
Very little else is known about the game, other than Mojang announcing that the game will enter into a private alpha testing phase at some point during 2011.
