Despite the fact that the Nintendo 3DS is perfectly equipped to download demos, Nintendo are unsure whether it's actually something they should bother offering to consumers.
Speaking to Wired, Nintendo 3DS producer Hideki Konno said "I question whether or not demos are effective. There are cases where people play a demo game and they're satisfied with that play experience and they don't buy the game. There are also times when they play a demo and think, 'Wow, this is great, I'm going to buy this when I have the chance.'"
At least they aren't set in their ways about it, and with the SpotPass technology, they have accepted that the system could handle it quite easily.
