Infinity Ward and Activision's popular Call of Duty franchise may be back sooner than we think. UK magazine PSM3 have uttered whispers that Modern Warfare 3 may be revealed in April, complete with the debut gameplay footage.
According to insiders, word is that Modern Warfare 3 is quite likely to pick up where Modern Warfare 2 left off, with Soap and Price on the run, as well as links to popular character Ghost. The reveal will coincide with Black Ops', which was announced around the same time last year.
"Based on the ending of MW2, we'd be surprised if the story doesn't pick up with Soap and Price on the run, after they were set up by General Shepherd."
Activision have enlisted the help of studios Sledgehammer and Raven Software to aid Infinity Ward in the development of Modern Warfare 3. Should the game hit shelves later this year, it'll be up against some stiff competition, specifically a game that starts with a B and ends with a 3.
