Beyond the Labyrinth is an absolutely gorgeous looking "dungeon exploring" title from publisher Konami and tri-Ace, developers of Star Ocean. Andriasang notes that early reports on the game suggest that it could be an RPG dungeon crawler - it's a rather pretty one if you ask me.

Concept Art for Beyond the LabyrinthKonami's Shingo Mukaitouge, who is the producer on the game, as well as tri-Ace's CEO Yoshiharu Gotanda revealed that Beyond the Labyrinth is a "dungeon RPG" and is being developed to be one of the main attractions on the 3DS. Takayuki Suguro, who previously directed Resonance of Fate and Valkyrie Profile 2, is directing the affair.

Neither Mukaitouge nor Gotanda would confirm if the girl seen in the images is the main playable character. They did mention that the story will revolve around her. They did not reveal her name, but said that she will have plenty of dialogue to share with players, an aspect of the game that tri-Ace is focusing on.
