Update:
Looks like the Facebook page is back up. Spread the word to unlock the revelation of the next Assassin's Creed game!

The next Assassin's Creed game has been leaked, or more likely pried open. NeoGAF members managed to extract the information from a rogue Ubisoft Facebook post which has since been taken down.

Dubbed Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the only thing we know about it is that Ubisoft had an exclusive sneak peak ready for Facebook fans, not unlike DICE's unlockable 12 minute Battlefield 3 clip. However, it's being called "the next Assassin's Creed game," meaning it's probably a big one, even if Roman numeral three is missing at the end of it.

Or, if Ubi's trolling, it could be just another Facebook game not unlike Assassin's Creed: Legacy.

Game Informer will have the dirty on it in the May 2011 issue of their magazine. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said earlier in the year that the announcement for the next Assassin's Creed game would be in May. Coincidence? Quite unlikely.

On that note, Ubisoft's E3 Media Briefing will take place on June 6 at 2PM PST. If neither an Assassin nor Templar are mentioned, tables will be flipped.

Thanks Astharis.
