Ever wondered what the good old classic Crash Bandicoot games from Naughty Dog would ever look like on current generation consoles and PCs? Well, one guy did and he's developed the PlayStation favourite using Crytek's Cry Engine 2.

The screenshots look gorgeous. What's funny is that none of it actually shows Crash's face - and probably for good reason too, his face looked awfully creepy in the PS2 games, let alone in high definition.

It would be great to see a new Crash game from the boys and gals and Naughty Dog, it's too bad the rights were acquired by Activision. After seeing what they've done with Spyro, fans best look forward to Uncharted 3 instead.

Here are the screenshots, they look pretty darn beautiful.
