The lid has been lifted on Assassin's Creed: Revelations, as the first official details have been revealed by Ubisoft, including confirmation of the setting and the protagonist.
As many had speculated, the game will take place in Constantinople and will focus on the Ottoman Empire. It will also see the return of Ezio as the protagonist, as Ubisoft look to deliver the final chapter of his trilogy within the Assassin's Creed universe.
Ezio will venture to Constantinople to walk the path of his mentor, Altair (also playable), where the Templars are growing an army that threatens to destabilise the region. Desmond will also feature in the game again, as players will be able to try and learn more about his past, while attempting to gain more insight into the future. Multiplayer will be further developed too, offering an expanded experience.
The game is due to release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms this November - much like the previous main-series titles. However, a PC version has never launched at the same time in the past.
