Brink has gone straight in at the top of the UK video game sales charts, beating out the only other high-profile launch of the week, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean.

This means Zumba Fitness was dropped down to third, with Portal 2 second. But Call of Duty: Black Ops managed to stick around in 5th ahead of Mortal Kombat.

The only other new entry to surface in the Top 40 was THQ's MX vs ATV Alive, an experimental title for the company. Killzone 3 also re-entered into the Top 40, appeared in 24th, while Homefront fell from 9th to 23rd.
