Bethesda has recognised that their downloadable content plan for Fallout 3 wasn't the best, but they've put steps in place to make sure that with Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the same mistakes won't be repeated.
"The Fallout 3 pace that we did was very chaotic," said Todd Howard, the game's executive producer. "We did a lot of them "“ we had two overlapping groups "“ and we don't know what we're going to make yet, but we'd like them to be closer to an expansion pack feel."
Howard went on to say that they want to do fewer pieces of downloadable content, but on a much larger scale. They want there to be some real meat in the experience.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due on on 11.11.11 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
