Aliens: Colonial Marines is being developed in tandem with the new Hollywood blockbuster film and Gearbox, the developers, have stated that they would love for Sony to include special content, like the original film, in with the PS3 version of the game.
"We would love that," said Steve Gibson, the vice-president of Gearbox, when speaking to us at this year's E3. "It's the decision of Sony and 20th Century Fox for those types of things. Because we don't own the IP like we do with Borderlands and Brothers in Arms, it's not our call to make.
"It's the kind of thing that usually gets sorted out about six months before you ship and we're shipping next spring, so I think it will come up a bit later this year. We would love it though."
It would be great if they could use the extra Blu-ray space to give consumers some specials stuff, even if it's not extra content for the game.
