For the month of May, it looks like L.A. Noire has came out on top against multiplayer shooter Brink from Bethesda and Splash Damage, which made its debut week as number two on US charts.

Last month's top game, Mortal Combat, fell a few slots to fifth place, while last month's second, Portal 2, dropped only 2 spots, settling down with fourth place. Zumba Fitness managed to hold onto its position in the top ten as seventh while Call of Duty: Black Ops in remained in sixth.

As far as hardware's concerned, Nintendo's 3DS suffers from another disappointing month. Hopefully with the release of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, the handheld will see some growth in sales, although with the release of the PlayStation Vita on the horizon, the 3DS may need another game to keep it afloat.
