Square Enix has been forced to issue an apology to its fans over fears that Final Fantasy Type-0 may be delayed until the end of the year in Japan.
The news came from Hajime Tabata, the game's director, who cited the PlayStation Network downtime as part of the problem. They were attempting to test the ad-hoc multiplayer, but were unable to do so when the service was made unavailable.
Type-0 was given a summer release just months ago and with the admission it may well slip later into later parts of this year, it puts a Western release even further into doubt.
