Mass Effect 2 and 3 lead gameplay designer Christina Norman recently left BioWare and has apparently joined the League of Legends that is Riot Games, (See what I did there?) as a lead designer.
"I am thankful for my experience working on the Mass Effect series at BioWare, and think that Mass Effect 3 is going to be the best game in the series," Norman told Gamasutra.
"I'm looking forward to working with Riot on innovative new approaches to game design and game development in the rapidly-changing video game market."
Norman's departure was not a surprise, with BioWare having plenty of time to make preparations and have Mass Effect lead designer Preston Watamaniuk fill her role. Community manager Chris Priestly mentioned on the BioWare forums that Norman was no longer with the team, having recently been married and moving away from Edmonton.
