The Japanese government are now satisfied with Sony's progress and have allowed the PlayStation Network to be fully restored in the region. This means that online play and the PlayStation Store has returned. Other services such as Qriocity are also now available.
Elsewhere around the world, services started to come back online in May, with a full restoration in most Western countries happening during June. However, in Japan, the government wouldn't let Sony get back online that quickly.
Sony will surely be hoping that this will be the end of all its problems regarding the PlayStation Network, as they look forward to the future.
