Ubisoft has announced the acquisition of French free-to-play developer Owlient, who has built up quite a network of fans over the past five years.
Their most prominent property is a game called Howrse and Ubisoft's CEO couldn't be happier. "We are thrilled to welcome the talented team at Owlient to Ubisoft," Yves Guillemot stated in the official release.
Ubisoft will use Owlient to push forward their online free-to-play offering. The next title they have planned for release is Ghost Recon Online.
