BioWare has responded to criticism levelled at their latest big RPG, Dragon Age II, by stating that they can't please everyone. They do appreciate the honest feedback though.
"If there's anything that's surprising it's just how polarized some of the reaction has been [to Dragon Age II]," said David Gaider, a writer on the project.
"There are fans who felt disappointed... and there's a feeling [on our team] that we want to improve from the groundwork we've laid down.
"At the end of the day, Dragon Age can't be everything to everyone "“ so we simply have to pick a direction and make it the best experience we can."
The metacritic score for the Xbox 360 version of Dragon Age II sits at 79, but the user score took a severe beating from fans. Despite the game being out for some time, it's still 4.4.
