Miyaji is most well known for his work on series like Silpheed, Gun Griffon and, most notably, the Grandia series. He founded Gamearts at the age of 19 with his brother Yoichi Miyaji and in 2000, he formed G-Mode.
The statement did not reveal any other details regarding Miyaji's passing, but CEO of Gaia Holdings Ryu Okoriyama will be taking his place as CEO of G-Mode.
