Nippon Ichi Software is quite interested in Sony's new PSP Remaster program, which brings PSP games into the high definition world of the PS3, the first announced Remaster being Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver, followed by God of War: Origins Collection.

Speaking with Siliconera, Nippon Ichi President Souhei Niikawa revealed that the Japanese developer is currently looking into it, especially since they have quite a strong lineup of PSP titles.

"We're looking into it right now," he said. "We're investigating how the feature works and learning about the system. We're happy about it too because we have a strong lineup on the PSP and we would like to change that to PS3, so we can have a wider audience."

Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman, Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero and Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! are among the few PSP titles released outside of Japan. Don't forget about the addicting dungeon crawler ClaDun: This Is An RPG and the upcoming sequel ClaDun x2.
